The Viper Brothers is a four-piece rock cover band hailing from Howard County, Maryland. They specialize in playing songs from their formative years: the 90’s and 2000’s. They meld their diverse musical tastes and impart artistic interpretation to their sets to deliver engaging, high energy performances.

About the Band:

The Viper Brothers first formed around 2015. Jason (drums)  and Adam (bass) started jamming for fun in 2013 and were soon joined by lead guitarist Matt. Shortly after, lead vocalist Josh joined the band to complete the 4-piece group. The pandemic provided an opportunity for the band to gel and expand their set list as they rehearsed in masks outdoors through the cold and heat, and in 2021 they performed their first live show.

The band practices in a lawn equipment shed owned by lead guitarist Matt. The space is not finished or climate controlled, and is semi-underground. Despite that, it serves as the perfect meeting spot for the band to hone their craft. The band used this space to meet during the pandemic, and it serves as a headquarters for band activities. Sprickets, spiders, frogs and even snakes often frequent their space during practice sessions. The band nicknamed their practice space the “Viper Den” in homage to their first “fans”. That moniker for the band’s practice space inspired the band’s name.
